Abstract-The sample(for x=0, x=0.01, x=0.1, x=0.35) in Y1Ba2-xSrCu3O7-y systems were prepared sintering at constant temperature 950¡Éat air atmosphere. Smples were analyzed by measuring X-ray patten, resistivity and SEM photograph. For the range
of
0¡Âx<0.1, the X-ray diffraction measurement showed that the material remains orthorhombic. The x=0.35, sample did not show a zero resistance at low temperature. Hence, this was not superconductor. It was found to exist in mixture of
superconductiong
phase and impurity phase. To decreases as substitution of Sr for Bax increases. The depression of Tc is though to be due to the local distortion of the lattice in the neighborhood of the Sr site and the introduction of oxygen vacancies.
